Clarksdale, MS--the golden buckle on the cotton belt

Default Book--USET Horsemanship by Gordon Wright and the USET

Anyone else got one? Found mine in a box of old books.

Mine is quite elegant with a slip case and signed by Gordon Wright. Published in 1958. It has sections on Longeing and Cavaletti by Bert de Nemethy, one on Foxhunting, one on Three Day by other people, one on analyzing Jumping Courses by Steinkraus, one on Time Classes by Frank Chapot and one on the Olympics by General Guy V. Henry. Also has section on Vet practice and Stable Management, with a whole section devoted to bandaging. Lots of illustrations by Sam Savitt.

I haven't read it yet, but was wondering just how dated it was.

Yes, I think I have that book too! I will look in my collection. I have quite a few of the older books on horsemanship, and find a lot of treasure in them.

It is old but pretty classic and a lot that is said in it still applies today and should probably still be used!
