    Default Acid Wash Cleaner Recommendations

I haven't had my aluminum trailer acid washed in a few years and it is way overdue. I usually wash my trailer once a month in the summer but it really needs something more now.

I have always taken it to a truck wash to be done but I would like to do it myself this time.

I am looking for brand recommendations from those who have used them before.

    Thanks!!

You may want to stay with the truck washers, so you don't have that stuff all over your dirt. Read the cautions, how to handle, dispose of stuff in rinses and disposal. I have to believe the acid in the wash is NOT vinegar! Personally I don't want any more chemicals on the place than absolutely needed, don't want to deal with chemicals in handling it.

The truck place is responsible for handling, proper use, disposal, people cautions, you just pay and drive away with the shiny trailer.

I'd consider that like an oil change:
It can be done at home, but disposing of the left overs.....

Money well spend on taking it to the shop.

    Default acid wash

We like the Streakmaster line of products, www.streakmaster.com. They are not nearly as toxic as the acid and can be used at home safely. They will do the job and you don't have to worry about the environmental damage. He will ship directly to you and is available by phone to walk you through the usage.
