    I read the book about him as a young girl and have followed TB racing ever since... he was the best

    Thanks for posting that! That was real interesting! I did not know they had a funeral for him. He sure was a nice looking horse!

    Thank you so much for that, how beautiful! He truly was an otherworldly horse. It is true I have never seen a horse so regal and proud. He knew he was the greatest ever.

    I don't care what they say about anyone since, Man o' War was the greatest American thoroughbred who ever lived.

    My mare Tango, the one I have written about here, her lines go back to MOW. She too is an exceptional horse.

    As I read the link tears were welling up in my eyes and I had to stop a few times to wipe the tears away.

    What an incredible tribute to an incredible horse. It makes me wish I could go back in time and actually meet him. I am proud to own, through my mare, some of his blood.
