Talking CL Ad of the Day - Resurrected & Updated

From the N'West GA Craig's List this morning:

FOR SALE-HORSE TRAILER -- 2 Horse Slant with tact room, never been used, extremely nice, BRAND NEW

Hmmmm, nice to know there's one area of the trailer with diplomacy.

Oh, excellent! I'm looking for a 2-horse, and I just HATE it when your trailer says the wrong thing in front of a group of people!

I have known many people in the horse world that I would love to shove into a tact room.

Certainly a lot more mobile than the "Oval Office".

But it says the tact room has never been used.

I saw one this morning that said, "smart dog needs smarter parents."

    How about this one:

---"I have a 7 yr. old palomino mare for sell she has been a brood mare most of her life but has been riidden. She is very gentle and halter broke, I will take $350. for her and throw in a 3yr. old jack. "---

Is he selling a mare or trying to get rid of a jack?

I love these unintentionally stupid ads. What a view into the world. I also like the crafty ads like Bluey's post.

Not horse related but we just sold an ellyptical machine that we never really got into using. I wanted rid of it so had my husband post something to this effect.

Ellyptical machine, low hours. Wife still fat.

Got plenty of responses and guy bought it for his "fat wife".

    Whatever gets it sold.

Why limit it to people in the horse world??

Though I suppose it would get VERY crowded in short order!! **Visions of how-many-college-kids-can-cram-themselves-into-a-phone-booth dancing in my head....**

I just read one that said:

"Horse Cage Good for Braking a Horse."

I just had to open it to see what the hell he was selling. Turns out it was a round pen. Silly me, I just wasn't thinking, but of course, it's a cage used for braking.

Reminds me of the infamous ad for "five cute kittens and one ugly one." They found homes for six "ugly" kittens!

OMG I'm selling my elliptical for pretty much the same reason. I just don't use it. I think I'm going to steal your ad idea. That's funny as heck!
