Default Would this be OK to feed?

My friend gave me a big 50# bucket of Platinum Performance since her horse is gone. It is a few months past the sell by date... would this be OK to feed?
It had never been opened, it smells normal and it looks normal, didn't taste rancid either...

With human food a sell by date is NOT the same as an expiry date and eating whatever it is past that date is supposed to be fine.

Most of these sorts of things just start to loose their potency past a sell by date so you may need to give more to achieve the same results as a fresh bucket.

Contact customer service at Platinum Performance, explain the situation and ask someone there. I have found their customer service always very helpful and friendly.
