I am SO not surprised, but this is exactly what all breeders of hunters would love to hear! Congratulations, Figaro!

Looks like he's been featured as the IJF stallion of the week at http://www.youngjumpers.com/yjcblog.

Even though he's a hunter, his sire Pavarotti vd Helle produced Olympian Quintus.

Bannockburn Farm LLC is very proud of Figaro B and his many accomplishments both this year and last. We also wish to congratulate his owner Dr. Linda Bobrick on her purchase of him . I still believe that he is the only Pavarotti son standing in the USA.
I would like to give some credit to the mare , as even though this BB talks almost exclusively about stallions , I believe his Mother, Rianne, had a lot to do with his being an exceptional hunter.
I almost did not purchase her as Wiebe from VDL and I had been looking at broodmare prospects all day and looking at this filly was the last on my list. She was still at her Mother's side and I wasn't comfortable shipping a horse that young. Then when I went over her pedigree she had so much TB in it I said " why am I even looking at this filly ? We have TB bloodlines at home " To which Wiebe replied" Trust me I know this mare " and he owned the stallion and so I did trust his judgement and purchased this filly with Lucky Boy,Wahtamin and Exilio TB stallions in her pedigree.
She has become one of our best producing mares.
She has produced a dressage horse Cinnamon B, El Dorado B a jumping competitor , Figaro B , and two fillies that are hunter prospects , Grace B and Harmony B ( Who was the USHJA zone Hunter Breeding Champion in 2010).
Can't discount those TB's for the hunter market in the USA.
