So I discovered my TomTom sucks, and doesn't have truck routes in it. I have a Dodge Ram 2500, and around where I am, I can't drive on some of the parkways. I'm going to have my own trailer come this spring/summer, so I need a new GPS navigator that will include truck routes, and not take me through tiny streets, covered bridges, etc. So far I have found the Garmin Nuvi 465T. Anyone with any recommendations?
I have a Garmin Nuvi, and love it for trailering because it has a built in up to the minute traffic and road conditions feature, and will reroute me if necessary, and also tells you how long the delay is if you want to wait it out. It is very easy to use.
The new Dezl 560 from Garmin will fit your needs though it is not available for purchase yet. It has been designed from the ground up for long haulers and is available with lifetime maps and traffic updates which are essential. It is a bit more expensive than anything you'll find from Tom Tom though.
Thus do we growl that our big toes have, at this moment, been thrown up from below!
