What about starting out with brownies? Gluten-free baked goods typically have a grainy texture. In my experience, the consistency of fudgy brownies masks the grainiest best.

Betty Crocker makes GF mixes now, too. They aren't too bad! They do, however, contain dairy and many people on a GF diet are also dairy-free.

I think Bisquick also make gluten free mix that can be used for various recipes and Betty Crocker has various cookie mixes

I've seen quite a few gluten free cake mixes and such at the grocery store.

Also, on the show "Ultimate Cake Off" or something similar, they had cupcake makers come on the show. One girl was completely gluten free. Dont remember her name but her cupcakes looked delish! Dont have time to look her up right now, but im sure her info cant be too hard to find!

I am surprised that there are so many mixes out there!

Think brownies are a really good idea!

I really love baking from scratch and thought I'd see if anyone had tried it here.I don't think anything quite says love, like a really beautiful and yummy cupcake.
