Default Your favorite picture of your horse goofing around... critiques welcome.

In an effort to have a little fun....

    I'll start...

Here's one of me. <<CLICK I know I need to get my heels down a bit. And I'm resting on my hands too much.

Clearly you don't know what you are doing and that horse needs discipline. Bucking is not to be tolerated. I recommend long lining him.

You should have a vet check him for ulcers, a bad back and lyme just to be on the safe side.

I think YOU need to be long lined. And maybe spanked a little.

Obviously he needs to be round-penned. With a carrot stick. A big one.

Probably wouldn't hurt the Rabbit to be round-penned either.

Here is Willy trying to run away with me in the snow :P

Here is how Willy jumps (and knocks down) 1 ft flowers.... no need to critique this, my equitation is clearly perfection here I wish my dad had filmed this stunt of his.

Oh and I just found this one, why running martingales save faces....

I love his goofiness, something new each ride :P

Ahhh, you old thread killers. Go drum up some goofy pictures and come back here. I'll critique YOU and decide who needs some carrot sticking and who doesn't.

    THIS is HIM free jumping....

Oh and did I mention he remodeled my horse trailer for me too. He's got a lot of horse-n-ality, that one, he does.

I really admire the way you're right in the middle of your horse in both pictures! WELL DONE!!! No carrot sticking for you!

    Default Very fun!

Love 'em all! My mare doesn't necessarily think one should expend energy unnecessarily. She says having fun can be done at a stand still:

Hard to get a good feel of what ensued (which was much more exciting than this shot) but this was the beginning of a OMG-what-is-that-I'm-going-to-run-sideways-across-the-ring-and-then-try-to-launch-you.

This was one of my more trying projects - she turned out fantabulous though..below is a pic of her with her junior rider.

I think it's appalling that you are making light of these moments demonstrating such serious lack of discipline, but I suppose I expect nothing less from you. You owe it to a young horse to provide them with boundaries and a structured environment to help them learn to be good citizens down the line. Horses with a lot of "Horse-an-ality", as you call it, tend to end up in bad situations.

If you cannot give him the education he needs, get him to someone who can, for his sake.

I really like the way you've lightened her forehand. I would like to see you keep your reins more even though.

    10 Carrot stickings for you.

I'd give you 30 but clearly the mare turned out okay inspite of you.

I know I have some good under-saddle pictures somewhere.... well, under-, ove-r, flung-out-of saddle pics. I'll have to search!

Forget Awkwardfamilyphotos.com, i think we could start our own awkward photo page!

Not really goofing around... but so unstylish it's funny. All I can say in my defence is that Kool-Aid was barely a concept and carrot sticks were just a gleam in the eye of PP...

Your sister needs to find the middle of her horse! Clearly a no talent hack and both the poor horse and I hope she gave up riding altogether.

50 carrot sticking to YOU for showing a picture like that of your sister!

There is obviously nothing to criticize in my trendsetting and stylish trailriding attire in this pic, but the rest...:
