I need ideas too. I guess I am making Buffalo chicken dip and drinking Hard Cider.

It's just me and the Lucky Kitties so I don't get much variety. I had chili for breakfast and will most likely have fish tacos for the pre-game. A celebratory chilled green appletini will round out the day and not put me too far over my calorie goal. I'm very pleased that I was able to walk past the baba ghanoush, tzatziki, hummus, gourmet cheese and olives at Wegmans. Yay me!

Leftovers -- had a dinner party last night so I have extra pecan-encrusted chicken with Bourbon sauce, roasted parsnips, cornbread, and brownies with a mint truffle ganache and chocolate glaze. Topped off with homemade Irish cream whiskey.

Oh for yummmm!!!! I may need to borrow that menu in the future!
We are having some friends over. BBQing 2 tri-tips, roasted onion and red peppers on the side, peanut cole slaw, bbq beans, buffalo chicken dip with celery & crackers. Brownies and lemon squares. Friend is bringing wings, guac, salsa, chips and who knows what else. Doubt we will go hungry!

I'm not even watching the Superbowl, but kept reading on FB about all the great SB stuff people were making or planning to eat. So I went to the grocery store with the intention of getting some SB food (I was thinking wings), but once there, I managed to change my mind. I'm sure I'm going to be jealous of all the SB party postings shortly. Not for the game, but for the party food.

LOTS of beer, homemade beef/queso dip, meatballs, cocktail weenies, nifty corn muffins with hotdogs in it (ok sounds weird but tastes like a corndog but better!), veggie trays, chips and um....I think thats about it!

Uhhh neither hubby (thank god!) or I are into football. I've been to Super Bowl parties where I don't even know who's playing until I get there lol. Hubby doesn't watch any sports (unless it's F1 or petit racing and even this is RARE). But we are ordering pizza.. I made some shrimp for lunch so that's my cooking done for the day lol.
