    Default Trakehner mare line "Kassette"

Okay, any of you Trakehner gurus have information on the "Kassette" mare line? Specifically the pros/cons of this line, production in sport etc?

Also, how well does this line outcross with other warmbloods (eg, Hanoverians).

I know that paardenfokken has it listed as a very productive mare line, just wondering what Trakehner folks can give me as far as further input. Thanks!

Looks like they cross very well with TB's, not sure about warmbloods.

Thanks! The TI website was my next place to visit!

So, would it sway you Trakehner gurus one way or the other if a stallion's damline traced directly back to Kassette (ie, a Hanoverian stallion). That is, would you be more likely to breed to him because of this damline.

Also, any predispositions (ie, is it mainly a dressage line or a "jump killing" line?)

Depends on what I was looking for, but I really like the Kassette family. Lot's of top dressage talent but also some of the most interesting jumpers as well.

I believe that the Hano stallion Dannebrog comes from this mareline. Very promising young stallion. Are you thinking of breeding to him?

Yes, I am looking into possibly breeding to him. Hence my interest in the Trakehner mare line.

Good pick. I am trying to convince Cindy's Warmbloods who posts here to breed to him.

It doesn't get much better than Maren's encylopedia on that bloodline.

I have a mare who has Kasette both top and bottom, double Kassiber.

Yeager's pedigree goes back to Kassete:

That's a way back of course, but Yeager definitely takes most strongly after his trakehner side. I love his jump -
