    Smile Oldy but goody -- thought this would be of interest on a slow day

    Just because once in a while it's fun to see if we can't do better. I wrote this close to 30 years ago! And the picture on the page was taken by me at Fair Hill International last fall, Karen Schlingmann who was volunteering in dressage (on the left), and I am very sorry not to know the name of the lovely person on the right who was also working that day! (Please post if you know her.)

    Hey this was prior to internet and email! So I added the more modern references to communication as I retyped it. Does this still apply today? If not, in what ways?
