    Default Funny COTH Signature/Byline Quotes

Whenever I browse through threads on COTH, I'm always struck by some of the quotes that people have in their signatures. I'm still poking through, but I started a blog entry on my blogger thingie, and thought I'd share a few favorites. Please share some of your favorites, funny or just insightful!

"Even duct tape can't fix stupid."

    "Maybe he needs clicker training."
(In response to a comment that a boyfriend is gradually becoming unsupportive of another girl's horsey hobby).

"The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously." - Hubert Humphrey

"It's such a fine line between clever and stupid." David St. Hubbins, Spinal Tap

"No hour of life is lost that is spent in the saddle." - Winston Churchill

"My horse is a dressage diva so I don't have to be."

"If only I could convince him that he can poop and move at the same time."

"All horse people are crazy. You just have to figure out which flavour of crazy works for you."
When life throws you lemons, put on your best Asian accent and scream "Faaack yuuuu Rehmooohns!" (says yours truly, the half-Japanese kid )

From a past COTH poster, ClydeJumper: "Nothing says love like a tractor."

One of my favorites, and I can't remember who has it..

Never grow a wishbone, daughter, where your backbone ought to be.
    ~ Clementine Paddleford

And then there is this one which I probably don't have as eloquent as the original:

Most horse people are crazy. If you don't know one, it's you.

PRS has my fav: "My biggest fear is that when I die my husband is going to try to sell all my horses and tack for what I told him they cost".

Every one of them had that look of a girl infatuated with horses, the happy, fated look of a passenger setting sail on the Titanic.

I like this one, don't remember what poster has it:

"We have to learn so much first, before we know how little we really know."

I can't recall the exact quotation, but it was something along the lines of, "Don't be fooled - PONY is a four letter word!"

    I'd rather be riding!

I am currently in love with:

Most people don't need a $35,000 horse. They need a $1,000 horse and $34,000 in lessons.
It's from 'The Barn Rules', which is a CoTH username. Love it. Love love love it.
I tolerate all kinds of animal idiosyncrasies.
    I've found that I don't tolerate people idiosyncrasies as well. - Casey09

I don't remember the exact wording, but it goes along the lines of:

Definition of Horse: Large Mammal seeking an expensive, inconvenient place to die. Each day they choose not to execute the Master Plan is the more time they have to perfect it.

    Ha ha ha!!!

"Adulthood? You're playing with ponies. That is, like, every 9 year old girl's dream. Adulthood?? You're rocking the HELL out of grade 6, girl."

Never judge a person unless you walked a mile in their shoes. The you have their shoes and they are a mile away...(I think something like that)

This isn't a signature line, but a classic CotH quote:

Horses wake up with only one decision to make each day... Shall I commit murder or suicide?
