My four year old daughter is horse crazy and watches Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron on almost a daily basis. We are expecting a new baby (human) and my conversation with her tonight went like this:

Lucia - "Mom when the baby comes out is it going to come out of your butt?"

Mom - (completely horrified) "Ummm, no sweety the doctor is going to cut my tummy and take the baby out."

Lucia - "Are you sure? 'Cause I watched Spirit and he came out of his mom's butt!!"

Mom - "Okay well that is a bit too much information. I love you, goodnight."

LOl..when that movie came out it changed the next 4 years of my life! DD had FOUR STRAIGHT Spirit birthday parties. I was SO SICK of Spirit!

Now I wish they'd made a sequel, lol.

Hey I own "Spirit." My stallion, Cayuse Gold, is a dead ringer for Spirit of the movie. He's a Spanish Mustang and Spirit was also. I've had some interesting conversations with people when I had him out doing promotional events! ;-)

That is a phrase from my favorite movie of all time - Auntie Mame. She also said that life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death. Too true. I loved her attitude about life but her foxhunting skills were hilarious.
