    Default PPE Vet's? Central VA

My vet will not travel 2 hrs to do a PPE....

Any suggestions in the Locust Dale/Charlottesville/Orange area would be great.

I'm thinking Blue Ridge Equine (actually, do they even do PPE's??) or maybe White Oak (Dr. Steve White)?

This is a far stretch, but a vet that will do a PPE on a Saturday would be GREAT

Blue Ridge Equine will absolutely do PPE's. THough Dr. Castinella is no longer there, and she was my PPE person.

I've used both Blue Ridge and White Oak for PPE's - both did good jobs -- I think White Oak was a little cheaper -- don't know about Sat appts but I was able to get both quickly scheduled (FYI - we shipped in to Blue Ridge)

Me too. Without her I would be hesitant to recommend anyone from there other than Dr. Cowles himself for a PPE. Or at least any sort of involved PPE.

I cannot say enough good things about Blue Ridge Equine - they saved my Willie for me. I am sure that someone from the main office would do a PPE in that area - we now use the vets from the Valley Division to do our routine vet calls. Give them a call - they are excellent.

I used Dr. Flynn at Georgetown to due my last pre-purchase exam. Was very happy with him, and he was nice enough to work with my crazy travel schedule and do the exam on a Sunday.
