I'm the worst vegetarian in the world, so I order wonton soup. It's the one non-fish meat product that I just can't kick! But I don't order it very frequently so I allow it. Other than that, veggie lo mein, general tso's shrimp (like I said, worst vegetarian in the world), sweet and sour shrimp . . . mmm. Now I want chinese food for dinner!

Mu Shu Pork!!! I was thinking I'd be lazy and skip the errands I really should do in town tonight...but now that you've got me thinking about Chinese food, the opportunity to pick up some takeout on my way home is a great motivator! Better yet, SO isn't here tonight, so I can have it all to myself! Between Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean...I could definitely happily subsist on Asian food alone.

ETA: Just reread my post and it sounds like I want to dump my SO and pig out on Asian food all by myself...what I mean is, Asian to the exclusion of other cuisines. I'd share with SO as long as there was enough to go around

Probably the most non-Chinese, US-invented "Chinese food" ever, crab rangoon.

    Mmmmm deep-fried cream cheese

Sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, steamed dumplings (love the dipping sauce), chicken lo mein. As far as I'm concerned, anything that involves soy sauce is AOK!

No wonder I never saw it on any other Chinese restaurant menu. Still, it sure is delicious! So, I think I'll keep on ordering it anyway!

    Ooh, I love Chinese food!
Chicken chow and lo mein, orange chicken, general tso's chicken, bourbon chicken, fried rice, egg rolls, wonton soup, string beans in some sort of brown sauce, egg drop soup (also awesome if you mix white rice in it), and the sugary deep fried donuts (very authentic Chinese, I know!)
