    Default Jog and Call Back? Explain?

    Can someone explain to me the jog and the call back in Hunters?

    Following the over fences class, the horses that pin will be called back for the jog in the order they are pinned. If the horses all jog sound, the placings stand. If a horse jogs lame, they will be spun and everyone behind them will move up in placings.

    Also, if it's a class where conformation is judged, the final order for ribbons may be changed before the class is pinned. But the horses must demonstrate soundness in the jog before the conformation becomes a factor.

    Not sure if you are asking about the "how to" in addition to the "why" about jogging.

    Horses are jogged without their saddles - wearing just the bridles they were shown in.

    Thank god it is just the horse's soundness that is evaluated. There is no penalty if the rider/handler is lame.

    thank god the humans aren't judged on soundness or their grace. I'd be excused everytime
