Default Good article on the economy and FL TB industry, seizure 23 horses

Sadly there are SO many people breeding TBs in FL that should never ever be bred. They think they can make a bunch of money when in reality they never had a chance after expenses.

If anyone wants to help feed the horses or better yet adopt one check them out there. Most are young. My filly's dam was among this lot. Luckily she's been adopted and is almost recovered.

250 horses? Oh I hope not. It's hard enough for a few horses to be taken in but huge herds are just a huge expense on everyone involved and it is so unnecessary.
