    Default What's your New Year's Resolution?

    I'm going to try to spend only 1 hr/day on the computer. I'm retired and have no good reason to waste as much time as I do on the computer. Between looking at COTH, emails, and playing some computer games, I'll bet I waste probably 3-4 hr/day.

    Now, I will follow any threads on COTH that deal with Finger Lakes OTTB's or Louise would kill me.
    Sometimes you have to burn a few bridges to keep the crazies from following you!

    Couch to 5K... I'm obviously not going to quit eating, so I'm going to get back to running!

    Start riding again.
    Not all who wander are lost.

    Keep riding.
    All year long.
    Take the horse to shows.
    Ride the horse in actual classes in the shows.
    Not die doing the above.

    I am vowing to be more consistent. The biggest area I am targeting for better consistency is in running/exercising. I am hoping to start off the year with 100 days of exercise. I know people who do this for running (run a streak of 100 days without a break), but I don't think I'm in a place with my running program where it's a good idea to run that much without a break, I'm worried about injury. So my goal is a 100-day streak of exercising. That can be running, spinning class, yoga, elliptical or other stuff at the gym, walking (as long as it is an actual power-type of walk, not a stroll), or riding.

    Re-lose the 30lbs that I put back on in the past 1.5 years after taking a total of 3 to slowly take it off the first time. Not planning on taking 3 years this time though lol.

    My goals...

    Stand up for myself more.
    Stay on my A-game in school
    Go to yoga at least 4x a week...not excuse not to its on my way to campus
    Put more time and energy into my appearance. No more sweats/athletic wear as my go to apparel for class!
