Work crushes! I had a work crush on a gay guy at my last job. My field tends to the feminine, so he was pretty much the only game in town. And what else are you going to think about all day? Your job? Pffffft!

My weird celeb crushes - Mandy Patinkin (me and 5 million older ladies can't be wrong), James Woods and Adam Sandler (sad eyes, they kill me). And James Spader. Something so wrong and sexy about that one.

My weird "crush" would be Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau. I can't explain it I'm 34 and he's about 70 or so. There is just something I find very appealing about him, and so I will not judge anyone else's weird crush

But seriously, we've been best friends for five years. I've had a crush on him for seven years but cherished our friendship way too much to ever tell him. We talked about dating last year and said the next time we were both single we should try one date because we're 'good together'....well, now he's engaged so I guess we'll never know. It's going to be mighty hard to keep my mouth shut when the officiator asks if anyone has any objections at the wedding. :/

That and I have an unnatural thing for a close to 40y/o fellow trainer who's local. He's kind of on the short side, (about my height) and very HAIRY! :O Think back hair creeping out of his shirt. However he's a farrier, farms his own hay, and has a way with a horse that could make any horse woman want to melt. So needless to say, men, if you have yummy horse sense then you need not be hot...well, sort of.

When I first started teaching in a graduate program, I found myself "crushing" on one of the grad students. I was mortified! I was happily married! And the power differential was something I simply wouldn't be a part of regardless. WHAT was I thinking?! It was my "dirty little secret"...I don't think I told anyone. The fellow has long since graduated and gotten a job, but I still see him at conferences, which is a bit freaky for me. I need to get over it. After all, I never did ANYTHING about it....other than have a few wild dreams about him.

I have a hero-worship crush on Jim Wofford...along with every other equestrian I know!

And then there's Johnny Depp - just me and about 20 million other women (and men).
Greasy hair, gold teeth, dirty old rag tied around his neck (Vanity Fair cover) ..he's still somethin'.

I have a crush on Aaron Lewis from Staind... And Zac Brown from the Zac Brown Band. Neither are my normal type, but what they write and sing just gets me!

Oh, and Viggo. My old boss was the LOTR producer and said Viggo is as nice of a human being as you could find.

And I can not forget Laurence Fishburne. I went to work in CA thinking I would be crushing on a totally different celebrity. Lo and behold, Laurence was it. Super nice, and some of the conversations we had - Dear God, can I please have one just like him??
