    Default Stallion suggestion

My TB mare is currently in foal to Balta Czar, due in April. I am looking for Stallion suggestions for the upcoming year. I am tempted by ROCUSA. Any thoughts or suggestions? Her pedigree is

Any pictures of her??? Strengths and weaknesses? Hunter foal? Jumper foal?

What are you looking to have the sire add to the equation?

May as well ask all of the relevant questions before someone else does!

I don't have any recent pictures, but she is the old classic thoroughbred confirmation and look. She is 16.1, chestnut with a blaze and 2 hind socks. She has a great hind end, good shoulder and overall good confirmation. Her one weakness is her neck is a little short, so I would like to improve in that area. She is a very nice mover and very athletic but had a pasture injury that prevented her from ever being a performance horse. I am looking for something that will replace my fabulous AA jumper who is 12 now. A good mind is important.

Agree. He is a very nice horse with some excellent offspring out showing successfully. He should give you plenty of jump for the AA jumpers. Good luck and have fun.

I wouldnt hesitate to breed to Roc USA either. I have thought about using him on one of my homebred mares as well

Please also take a look at Winner - a 17.1hh Polish WB stallion:

    http://www.angelfire.com/on3/TrueCol...rm/Winner.html

and if you go to the bottom of the page, you'll see links to his jumper and hunter offspring

He is a Grand Prix winning stallion and has several of his offspring competing and winning at the GP level as well. Prezent is one that is out of a TB mare, so that should give you a pretty good idea of what this cross would produce

What I am hearing about his offspring is that they are VERY user and amateur friendly - they can go and win in the hunter or jumper ring today, go for a swim in the pond tomorrow, and get a Western saddle slapped on them the next day and go and help round up cattle!
