    Default Pics- Zenyatta's First Turn-out

It looks like she had a great time, but that had to be nerve-racking to watch.

I dread turning out new horses for the first time, you just never know what they are going to do. For all our OTTB's we actually slightly sedate them and put them out with a very quiet pony to hopefully prevent the insane antics for the first time out. After that first time out for several hours, the tend to tone it down a bit. Zenyatta sure looked to be having a ball though!

Love the Queen! She looks like she enjoyed the romp in the snow. Hope there are many, longer turn-outs in her future.
Heartwarming to read that she ran over to Espinoza, her track groom, and gave him a nudge.

So lovely that her "family" was all there to make sure she was ok.
And so nice that they and Lane's End are sharing all this with her fans.
If you haven't already, you can friend her on Facebook and get all the updates. Some are just for Facebook, and others are links to www.zenyatta.com.

Gorgeous mare! She looked like she was having a blast. I bet her people were a little nervous though.

Those are great! That was quite a crowd assembled there- I loved the matching coats on the farm staff.

I was tempted to cover my eyes once or twice when she ran on the snow.

She's such an amazing athlete and a superstar. Those videos brought home that she is also a horse - silly, has a personality, loves her groom, runs like a chipmunk on snow (same as all of our horses LOL) - all those little things that spectators miss, all those little things horse owners like us can relate to. So wonderful of her owners to share those moments with her fans.

I liked that cute silly walk she was doing after they put her back on the lead. Funny

How cute is she? I love that she took a minute to nudge her groom before going back to play.

What a beautiful creature she is. Even in the snow she's a speed demon! I loved the big bundle of carrots and her groom showing her where the water is. One of my horses does the "whinny while you run" thing too and it cracks me up. Every video of her is a total indulgence
