    Default Sad Condolences for Pascova

I had a heartbreaking email from a COTH BB member and eventer, Pascova.

She just lost her beautiful youngster, Finley, (by AFR out of her lovely Grange Finn Sparrow mare) in a tragic paddock accident.

Some of you may know her and her boy, but I am sure we all send her sad and heartfelt condolences.

So much beauty, talent and hope for the future, gone, and all her love and wonderful care could not save him.

So very sad and sorry for you, Allisa.

What a shame. I knew the youngster, and he was lovely. My heart goes out to Kay and Allisa and I hope they find comfort. It was hard losing the mare, so I can only imagine what they're going through.

    I'm so sorry......

It's a bit different to lose a youngster. Not any worse necessarily, but different. Because yep... you lose all your hopes and dreams with them too. You miss out on a lot of firsts....

My heartfelt condolences to them and her family and friends. I know how bad it sucks....

Although it is heartbreaking and I send my condolences and hugs, we must also keep in mind that we should not to allow the loss of any life, man or beast, overcome the gratitude we should feel for having been allowed to have that living being in our lives to begin with, for however short amount of time it was. I hope their grief period is short and the wounds in their hearts heal quickly.

    How very sad.

The loss of future dreams when you've created the partner that you're dreaming with and for is heartbreaking.

    My condolences.

Thank you to Gail and everyone. It is truly amazing how much they mean to us and how quickly something can happen. Reminds me to love and appreciate our horses each day AND enjoy and appreciate the process with each horse. Goals are important and necessary, but each day of the process should be enjoyed.
Thanks again for your kind thoughts as I struggle through this time.
