Default The world's best pony died today.

Title pretty much says it. Cute, fat little Shetland who loved people and mischief and food.. especially food. I'll miss him dragging full size adults into the grain room and wandering loose and knocking down fences so he could get loose.

The flaxen chestnut. Actually, all three of them have died in the past year or so .

The world just isn't going to be the same without him in it .

I am so sorry. He looked like a sweet boy. The world is so much nicer with ponies around.

Sorry for your loss, and compliments to you for being such a caregiver,,,many ponies don't have the life and love that you gave to yours. Take care

Thanks, guys.. pony didn't belong to me, he was the barn mascot where I've been for years. I spent quite a few years taking care of him. The best was turning him out by opening his stall door and giving him a smack on the butt, and bringing him in by shaking a pan of grain and running back to the barn . There really are no words for how awesome this pony was. No one knows how old he was, but he had to have been 30+ years old.

I am so sorry for your loss, but am glad to have seen those pictures. You can just tell there was a sense of humor behind those eyes! I can imagine how sad all of the people who loved him are, now. You have my condolences.

What an adorable pony. He looks like a Steiff (sp) stuffed animal.

Hugs and tears for you and all at the barn today...I just put my old gal down this morning. So very hard.....Perhaps now they are all galloping together in an endless field full of fragrant grass....
