    Default Don Engel 1925-2010

It is with a great deal of sorrow that I learned today of the passing last monday of Don Engel, former bloodstock agent and founder of Thoroughbred Information Agency. If anyone has been involved in the thoroughbred industry for a longer period of time, particularly in California, then they have heard of, met, or benefited from Don Engel's wisdom and advice.

Integrity is the word that comes to mind.

Rest in peace Don. You will be missed.

He will indeed. A ready smile and a quick whit, rare things some days.
