    Default Turning the Horses Out

One of our old friends who grew up riding at our barn, and who is now all grown up and a photographer came out several weeks ago to take pictures during morning turnout. As a gift to my parents she has created a wonderful slideshow, which she will be turning into a picture book for them. It is so beautiful I wanted to share with folks who would also enjoy it.

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful slide show. Your parents will be so pleased. Be sure and have them put the photos on their computers as screen savers.

What a beautifully captured moment in time. Love it.

    What beautiful pictures!
And what a lovely gift the book will make.

All I want to know is how my little gray & white barncat got all the way to VA & back here in time for supper!

    Absolutely breathtaking.
Every one of them had that look of a girl infatuated with horses, the happy, fated look of a passenger setting sail on the Titanic.

How lovely ... your friend has quite the eye. I particularly enjoyed the shots of human and equine legs moving out together.

I especially like the horse/dog/human/cat interactions in the slideshow. Very nice.

Stunning photos. Your friend has an extraordinary talent to make an everyday task into art like that.

Well it also appears that my little Sarah doggie somehow ended up down in VA, wearing a blanket too No matter how many times I fix the holes she digs under the fence she manages to get out.

Lovely photos and a great gift idea!

And what a place you have there. Can I borrow your cleaning crew -- I didn't see a speck of dust or cobweb anywhere!!

Your horses, dogs and cats are "suffering bravely." What a life.

    Thank you for sharing.

There are quite a few photos on there that truly convey the feeling of the barn and the serenity that being around horses brings.

It was a beautiful slideshow and your friend really does have a talent for photography.
