Default How similar - TC Complete and Pennfield Fibergized?

Are these essentially very similar feeds? It seems so from their respective websites but I don't really know what I'm looking at. How much of a transition period would you want for your horse if they were switching between the two?
    Thanks!

They are not that similar...Fibregized is a no grain formulation and is slightly higher in protein, fat, and I think even fiber. I would do a 7-10 day transition period as I would with any change.

I agree with Callaway, they look like roughly the same category, but are quite different in that Complete has oats (looks to be almost as many oats as beet pulp based on the picture), whereas Fibregized is grain-free and is digested in the hindgut where forage is digested rather than the foregut where concentrates with grains are digested. I'm not a vet nor a nutritionist, but I think I have that right...

Thanks! I always transition slowly...someone told me that they were "the same thing" but I wanted to make sure for myself before I just switched him over cold turkey!
