Default Help me choose a custom helmet cover!

My 15 year old grungy helmet cover is being retired along with my vest, so time to pick out a new one for Christmas! I can't decide though! I was going to order from Sipps (unless anyone has any other great sites to look at) and they have so many. I want something a little different (not just color blocked) but I also don't want to look like a race horse jockey out there! My colors are hunter and burgundy. Here's the site: http://www.sippsilks.com/Nylon_Satin_hats.html Which ones do you like?!?!

First off, definitely go with Sipps; I haven't personally used them, but I've heard nothing but wonderful things. I would go with something classic vs the heart or other more customy designs. You might get tired of it in a few months. I would say any of the ones on the first page and a half. One of my friends has the same colors as you and she just ordered the chevron design. Let us know which one you pick and post picks when it arrives

OMG GET THE ONE WITH THE UNICORN ON IT!!!

*Ahem.* I'm sorry I seem to have forgotten myself for a moment. I personally like the vertical stripes (my own cover is #21 but in grey and white, as seen here) but I think the vast majority of them would look nice with nice conservative colors like the ones you've chosen.

Ha! You're going to get me kicked out of the library for laughing so loud!

I like #32 also, it's different but not too "out there"- classic enough to survive another 15 years but not what everyone else has.

You could always do a nice throwback like #4 or #15 (if you're feeling brave and would like to join me on my crusade to bring the pom back to American eventing- I love those goofy things!).
If it were easy, everybody would do it.

HA! That was my second choice, just after the playboy bunny Or better yet, the goldfish here I think would really make a nice statement: http://www.tail-wags.com/helmet.html. Hmmmm, or maybe the pink poodle...decisions decisions (I just had a mental image of me falling off in the water with a goldfish helmet cover, BAHAHAHA!)

I actually really like #21! That wasn't on my original list but it is now! It helps to see them in action, so thanks for posting the pic (great pic by the way). And your colors are really nice, I've never seen anyone with a light grey/silver and white, but it looks really sharp!

PS. The cover that I'm replacing is just like #44, very classic and it has lasted

Oh. My. Goodness! If I ever get a motorcycle... I am totally buying one of those helmet covers! If only they had visors... these would be a really cute idea for young XC riders (even those just young at heart! ). I personally think the beaver or moose would be a hoot.

Anyway.. back to business... I also like #27 and #28.

I have to admit that I love #20, but you have to be down with the pom-pom. It's such a great throw back! I'm also with Purplnurpl in loving 46. It could actually be pretty cool in your colors since it won't be too high-contrast.

    Just another action shot

ALSO: please note that you don't have to get anything with a button, pom pom or bow. They are entirely customizable. So mine, #21 normally comes with a button, but I requested to have it taken off.

Oh gawd now I want the hearts with a pompom. That is what happens when your parents would not buy you a pony and you get your own as an adult and name it Huggy.
I had no idea they came in so many options. If you are going to keep if 15 years I would go classic (ok I would not because I am a huge dork on a large pony!).

We have the same colors! So I think this is a great one to get.

    Please, disregard my awful position.

We have matching colors and matching horses, yay for paints!

Decisions decisions! Stripes, stars, diamonds, chevrons and even unicorns, I might just have to end up drawing straws!
