Default Brits--active Abergwiffy stallion sons or grandsons

He was a very good eventing sire, and he came from an almost extinct TB sire line. If there are some in his tail male line standing--Devil's Jump was one of his--I'd like to know, as this is an exceptional TB line for the jump. It goes directly back to Hermit and Newminster. Newminster is the tail male line for Bay Ronald through a different son.

There's a 1993 Chinnor Charlie, who is/was a stallion from a son who is out of a Ben Faerie mare. NED has him as a gelding, but he had three progeny, I guess before he was cut.

Ohhh!! That would be interesting to me too! My foundation mare was crossed to Hermit several times in her topline as well as numerous to Hampton/Newminster and Swynford and Bay Ronald from several directions throughout. I have her daughter and granddaughter. Is Hermit that extinct through the sireline?

I believe Devil's Jump is still available:

There is also this one but I don't know any more about him other than what is in this advert:

If Devil's Jump is still standing, it isn't at Hobgoblin. I emailed them a while back to ask if they still had him, and they didn't. It would be interesting to know if he is still available and if his owners do frozen. I think from something I read that he was at Sportinghorse Stud, but that was a story from 2005. I just checked NED and he has one 2010 foal.

Penny, the direct line to Hermit is very close to extinction unless there are some hiding in the wilds of South America or the Antipodes or India or South Africa or Japan or some other not North American or Western European country.

Heck, I can't even think of a contemporary TB sire who is direct line to Hyperion or Son-In-Law. I'm sure there must be a few out there, but I'm damned if I know where.
