    Default Farrier recommendations Rochester, NY

Posting this for a friend. Her horse has been having some hoof issues. Basically horse is on and off sound without any diagnosis. Seen by three vets and vets have decided it is a combination of back and hoof problems. Barn she is at only uses one farrier and has used that farrier for over 15 years. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Anyone to stay away from is welcome via PM

I use Anthony DeFranco. My one horse had a lot of soundness issues and Anthony did wonders with him.

I'd be interested, too, in a referral! Except I need someone willing to drive to Hilton...

My guys wear front shoes, and well-behaved, and don't have special shoe needs.

I also use Anthony DeFranco, and highly recommend him.
