    Default Handles/Usernames--what do they say?

It's interesting when you look at what handles people choose and what they say.

Some are just statements of fact, like where you live, what you do, your horse's name (s), etc.

Some are philosophies of life that tell what you think.

    Some are funny.

Some are delusional ideas of who you are or wish to be.

What other categories would there be?

I take no time to think of usernames, just what pops into my head. I think they tend to be philosophies of life. I had another one I had that was just sort of my motto about how how you have to keep on trying. Due to pyschotic people, I don't use that anymore. This one just kinda shows my age as well as my finally figuring out my experience level.

The username of the psychotic person no longer here was a clear delusional fantasy of their own riding ability.

    Tell us about your name.

It's my horse's registered name. Not an awful lot of thought went into that one, I'm afraid!

    I'm super creative.

    Jack is my QH.

    Moe is my ASB.

    Jackandmo.

I use the same name on all horse related forums.

I used to have another name long ago, but didn't post any then.
Next time I tried to sign on, after a reorganization, my old name was taken, so I tried several, all were rejected, until, watching some migrating blue birds flying around, I tried Bluey and that one stuck.
I did have ages ago a saint of an aussie named Bluey.

vxf111 was my login/userid from college which just sort of stuck. For most people it was their 3 initials and then a 3 digit number that signified when they started college. I have a middle initial, and it's not "x" and yet for some odd reason PSU assigned me "x" as my middle letter. Never figured out why?

Mine is...drumroll please...my name. More specifically, our equestrian team had like 8 million Kate/Katie/Katherines in it, so I became Kate H and am perpetually referred to as Kate H, even though I'm now the only Kate.

Mswillie, AKA Mathilda, Tillie Willie, Wilbur, & Willie the Basement Troll, is the first cat I ever owned. My ex hated cats so when I got rid of him I got a cat.

That was 1991. I still have her. She's old but she still loves her food-in-a-pouch. She almost died years ago the only thing she would eat for almost an entire year was tuna. Had to be Bumble Bee chunk light in water. She wouldn't eat anything else.

She's slowing down and sleeps most of the day now. I don't expect her to be around much longer.

She is the physical symbol of the dividing line between me being married and me being divorced so her name is a great user name for me.

Mine was the name my mare showed under.
She always gave the false impression that she could not jump because she was/is a fairly heavy clyde cross. She could however jump the moon. I guess "wrong impression" would have been more accurate, but it did not sound right as a user name.

Funny, I always read it in the LolCatz voice! hahaha!

I don't think I need to explain the creative genius behind my name, lol! It is a pretty good reflection of how I am though. Not so deep, just that's what it is, in most situations.

    These are funny.

    Barnfairy. We need the story.

Bluey, my crush, that seems just right for you. Like me, it's what pops into your head at the moment. I used to get you mixed up with all of the other "blue" variations, though.

Bits for 'back in the saddle' as i'd taken a few years off! A friend enlightened me to the coth bb's and since my re-rider status was in the forefront of my mind while i joined, it influenced my username choice
signature line is just the only thing I could think of, and MrB makes me smile daily, especially with his non-horsey exclamations. Thinking of updating it soon.... Hmm...
(A decidedly unhorsey) MrB knocks over a feed bucket at the tack shop and mutters, "Oh crap. I failed the stadium jumping phase."
    (he does listen!)

Well, since I do combined driving....pretty clever, huh

I do wonder about some of the names...and the folks that aren't really here anymore. It's fun to hear the origins.
