I have used a company called Club Pet (located in Northern Virginia), but there are companies all over the place that handle this sort of the thing. I used Club Pet once -- we were travelling in the summer and had heat restrictions, but I've done all subsequent moves myself. If you're reasonably well organized, you can probably get all the cat paperwork taken care of on your own.
The turtle and birds, on the other hand, may not be able to go with you, but, again, that will depend on where you are headed. Some countries have pretty extensive restrictions on what can come in that isn't a dog or cat.
According to the Mayan calendar, the world will not end this week. Please plan your life accordingly.
Family ties...being the only kid and my parents getting older I have to consider stepping up and assume my responsibilities, preferable while they still know who I am.
But other factors pay in as well. I hate moving, I'd rather stay put.
I had done a preliminary search but the only thing I could find without making any calls was a company in Germany (destination)
I have considered leaving the birds and turtle behind but I am having bad luck trying to rehome animals...
