Ann Pennington, Pennington Farms in Ft. Myers is always the first one mentioned when Ft. Myers is the topic. I think she has a website but if you do a search she has been mentioned many times in these forums. I have no personal experience with her.
Ann is great, always has sale horses you can ride in lessons. Her website is usually a little out-dated, but it gives you a good idea of the range of horses she has.
If my foot ever gets better, I'll be up there in about 3 weeks riding for her while on break from school- come say hi!!
Hi all - just wanted to put in a plug for Roger Seitzmeir at Waldpoint Farms as well. He specializes in hunter/jumpers as well and has a lot of sales horses coming through. The farm has a great sense of community and is extremely peaceful and dry. They are located in N. Fort Myers. Facility is a work in progress but is safe and horses are extremely well kept. Can't say enough good things about riding with him and the training he's putting on my horse! You can search for their website for pricing and directions.
My parents live in Englewood, I'm at their house right now.
What a small world.
My sister rides w/ Robyn Bombenger in Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda. They don't do that many "A" shows but she is a good trainer.
Chris Hunt at Seahorse Stables is in Englewood, I've heard she is good, but I haven't ridden w/ her.
Clay Farrell w/ Prince Farm is another, based out of Venice in the winter.
