Default Repairing cracked plastic drinking water containers?

What do you use to caulk and seal them? One is a round 5 gallon jug which is cracked on the body, and the other is a 7 gallon square container with a crack on the shoulder. Both cracked after they were dropped.

I'd need something that was safe for drinking water for animals.

I think by the time you buy the caulk, you might just as well buy a new bucket.
