    Default The Second Coming

About a year and a half ago, I got the chance to clinic with my all-time hero, Jimmy Wofford (aka, God). This year he once again agreed to come within 500 miles of where I live, so I got to go to a SECOND clinic with him!

    I blogged it: http://jwclinic.blogspot.com/

One thing I learned was that I need to "listen" to my horse better, and react sooner when he gets behind my leg, especially.

Again, it was a marvelous time. Thanks to David and Laura Harris of Woodlands in OK! And to everyone who made the clinic great, esp. James C. Wofford.

Glad you enjoyed and learned something great, and EXTRA glad that you shared it, because that is exactly what I need to remember- react sooner.

This was so much fun to read. THANKS for posting!

Don't mean to hijack, but this is the best argument for people to sign up for his clinic in the Memphis area on Dec 4-5. Please see that thread for details.

And, now, back to your regular programming.

We are so spoiled in the east! It's hard to get people to drive 50 miles for his quality!
I love you guys. True eventers.

Heh, they are Jimmy's quotes, but by now, I'd say they are in the public domain! I love them.

I forgot to mention that we got someone's shirt, wrote "I Give A Shit" on it, and encouraged him to wear it Sunday.

    He didn't.

    This is great:

I loved this one: when someone asked how we can figure out what 350-400 mpm is, he said "350 is the speed at which you don't feel stupid for standing up in two point"...!
I was just trying to explain that to someone a couple of weeks ago, and they kept looking at me like I was crazy. Next time I'm going to say, "Well, Jimmy Wofford agrees with me!"

I love your clinic blogs, by the way; I always find words of wisdom to apply my own efforts.

Love the blog Becky! And you were a great fearless leader for the group. Made it easy for Spanky and I to be last and pick up the pieces. LOL. I cannot wait for the next clinic. It should be a blast. Spanky said to say hi to his Irish twin, Paddy.
