    Default Score conversion help needed

    Hi all! I am not a driver, but our club has many drivers. THis summer we gave points for our year end awards for a show held by a different organization. Well, WE calculate driving scores just like dressage scores - that is, points given divided by possible points equals score. They, of course, used the penalty points formula at the bottom of the tests.
    I have to convert them. I am usually pretty good at math, but since I have never scored a driving test this way, I am a little lost. All I have are the penalty point scores, not the points they earned on the test. (I do have access to blank tests with the formulas...)

    Can someone help?

    Loretta

    Check the bottom of the score sheets if you can. Your point scored from possible points should appear down there. If they just left you a list, let me know the test they were using and I can help you with the conversion equation. Probably not until tonight though (Wed 11/10)

    Here you go, you have to work backwords. The only problem you have is that you don't know if there were any errors on course and those get added after the factoring has taken place. But it will get you close.

    example
    Training Test 1

    150 - X = 48.1 (penalty score)

    X = 150 - 48.1

    X divided by factored = Total Points Given
