This is so friggen upsetting. I dont know anyone up here who even cares about college football. This really is not fair the breeders cup runs once a year, and this year it is especially important.

We are a huge football family...even my husband-who could care less about horse racing-is pissed. I get 4 races a year and Rolex on TV. They have it all year long. I'll never forget when Rolex was pre-empted with a hockey game. I'm sitting here with friends and food staring at a stupid football game!!!!

Here, too, tarragon. I don't know if they ever even scheduled it locally, god-awful Huskies football is on. I seriously hate television, what a bunch of douchebags, am so PISSED!! Even on our 2nd local ABC station they are just showing the same terrible old movies they have on day in and day out. Guess I shouldn't be surprised, though. Broadcast channels are spinning in the toilet bowl on the way down already.

I called up ESPN, sat on hold for 5 minutes & yelled at them. (Poor guy who answered the phone got an earful.) Their stupid "ESPN3.com" which they said you could watch the race on DID NOT WORK.

Umm, excuse me, but my Michigan Wolverines went into 3rd OT and WON THE GAME. Do you know what that means up here in Ann Arbor? Huh? Do ya? Filly running for her life? Uh huh. Rich Rod running for HIS life! Now that's a story!!

It didn't seem that long. I took the dogs out and the races were on when I got back. (Stupid Illinois...I left when they tied in the first OT and screaming "MISS!" at the Illinois place-kicker didn't work. Neither did yelling at the UM tackles to just jump up and down on the guy...the ONE FOOT marker? Really?)

After football dumped my shot to see the races on TV my SO's x-box came in handy. ESPN3.com has an x-box channel so I was able to watch. Also Apple has a really cool breeders cup app, that has info, news and live races. I hope this catches on for the triple crown next year.
