Goody Goody Gumdrops! It's CANTER Auction Time!
Hello COTH!
Guess what time of year it is? Yep! It's THAT TIME OF YEAR!!!!!!!
CANTER Auction time!
CANTER mid-atlantic's fall auction will be running November 15-22. (yes, moved back from what was originally planned. That's OK! That gives us even more time to get even more great stuff!)
Over the next week we will be adding more cool stuff and training opportunities, but also would like to welcome all of you to post anything you might be interested in donating to the cause! You name it, you can post it! New and used tack, art, books (new or used!), jewelry, food (do not miss the baked goods, seriously!), and fantastic lesson/training opportunities, including a flying lesson this year.
To add items or keep an eye on things till bidding opens, check http://cantermafallauction.proboards.com
The whole thing is pretty informal, but serves as one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. All the proceeds go to caring for the almost 40 horses in our care, and donations of goods and services is tax deductible.

Thanks in advance, from me, the CANTER Team, and Cane, Jewel, Bolt, Sprocket, Oakley, Ears, Rainbow, Ocean, Esstoga, Bill, Pegasus, Letterman, Jada, Bushy, Mort, Daisy, Wise Gold, Casey, Diamond, Clayton, Bruce, Ring Dancer, Lady Wheaton, Remda, Mack, Rita, Protege, Sonny, Mazzey, Spike, Escobar, ShineMyShoes, Rocket, Zoey, Dee, and some newbies as yet without names.

Ted needs to know whether there can be multiple bidders for the alfalfa and carrots for the ponies. He is very upset that they might go without either.

Yes, as many bidders as possible for those two! We know those Tb's need their carrots and alfalfa. I have been trying to teach the newest horse to eat the variety of horse treats we have in the barn but he keeps telling me carrots are the only treat he will eat.

Good. As you know, I am also an elf for Secret Santa for Horse Rescues, last year I donated to CANTER California! But I can squeeze out my allowance to make sure other horses get what they need.
Course, too bad you don't have a peep listing up there....

The CANTER auction has a few things in it that would make nice Secret Santa gifts. Hint, hint....

And that's a win-win - helping out a wonderful organization as well as getting a great gift!

I am once again offering up a selection of tasty treats, holiday snacks and, new for this auction, home canned jam, preserves, spicy salsa and mustard!
Some old recipes (Auction for Aiden, numerous CANTER auctions) some new!
Shop till you drop! It's for a great cause.

We already bid for carrots for the horses!
And my mom bid for one of the cool TB USA saddle pads. After all, I'm a TB and I would look even more studly in that (if that is even possible...)
