Default best product for chapped lips?

With winter coming on I'm wondering what people love to keep their lips smooth!

Burt's Bees Pomegranate on most days, because I like the touch of color. However, when my lips actually get chapped- I use Burt's Bees Res-Q Ointment. It's the only thing I've found that can actually clear up a problem quickly.

I LOVE Blistex Complete Moisture. It's kind of light - not waxy, and has a hint of tasty flavor. Does a great job of soothing and healing.

Does Burt's have any spf in it? I need something that blocks out the rays too. =)

Burts is the best. Im a chapstick hoarder, so I always have like 5 on me... It's super dry here in winter.

Also like the Chapstick brand in the blue tube. And ChapIce, which you cam get at the dollar store.

Carmex. I have jars and tubes of this stashed everywhere! The wind blows incessantly here in the fall/winter and I dry out like crazy.

Burts does have one with SPF in it. Leaves your lips a leeeeetle white, but you get over it

I second Burts as well. I like there aren't any added chemicals and the like, its just basically bee's wax and some oils!

I like Burts Bees w/a little bit of color, but it doesn't last long on my lips. Normally I use Carmex -- I have a tube in every coat pocket, in my car, by my bed etc. I'm addicted!

    another here for Burt's Bees!!

Also, for a bit of shine, there is nothing better than C.O. Bigelow, their products are THE BEST! The body shop carries their products or you can buy online.

I love their "Lemon" line - smells AMAZING

Burt's Bees Acai Replenishing. Don't think it has any SPF though. I tried the Burt's "original" but I hated having my lips smell like baby powder.

Also like Absorbine's Lip Conditioner. It's SPF 15.

    Default BURTS!

BURT'S BEES! Hands down the best stuff ever! get the one in the little tin and use it at night, (its gonna tingle ....trust me it works )...it will clear up any chapped lips over night ! stuff is DA BOMB! I am a hoarder too when it comes to Burt's tubes. I have at least 2 in each purse and about 6 on back up.

they just came out with one with SPF. The only favor I do not like is the honey, its a bit gritty.

Bag balm, hands down, most tack stores now sell it in a small purse size container, no color, doesn't smell icky (some chapstick and carmex smell yucky). Bag balm also does double duty, great on boo boos, animal and human.
Just remember, Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, only backwards and in high heels.

Blistex Deep Renewal or Carmex, plus I put Vaseline on my lips every night before bed. I've tried everything, and these products work best for me. Since taking Accutane nearly 15 years ago, I have had a really hard time with dry lips and have tried about everything.
