I just returned the Russell Crowe version of Robin Hood (he can still take off his shirt!), and tomorrow I should find Leap Year in my mailbox.

I tend to be very hot and cold on Netflix. Sometimes I watch the movie right away, and sometimes it sits around for weeks or even months.

Half the time I find that stuff on my list is on cable before I get that far on the queue.

I don't have cable, so I usually watch them pretty quickly...problem is my son doesn't usually like my picks, so I have to fight for TV time.

The newer film Brideshead is awful, honestly. >.> Unless you enjoy throwing popcorn at the screen/dozing off, you should get the TV miniseries instead.

I just returned The Company of Wolves and the top 10:

    1)A Bridge Too Far
    2) This Is Spinal Tap
    3) Lolita (The Kubrick version)
    4) Rebecca
    5) Wait Until Dark
    6) The Full Monty
    7) Anastasia
    8) Apocalypse Now
    9) The Man Who Cried
    10) The Night of the Hunter (actually because someone on this forum mentioned it)

So yeah ... definitely on an old movie kick right now.

I just watched Babies instantly. I was laughing hysterically throughout the whole documentary, and I don't even like kids! I also recommend Earth and Oceans by Disney for documentaries. They are really well done.

I have had the same DVD since May and haven't watched it. I am terrible at actually putting things in the DVD player. I pretty much only watch instantly. Does anyone know how Netflix works if you watch it through Wii or Xbox? Is it only the instant ones or can you get the other movies streamed as well?

I've been introducing the kiddo to some of the classics. He just saw the Wizard of Oz and Mary Poppins for the first time the other day

Just returned The Runaways (very well cast...I'm a huge Joan Jett fan...just wish there had been more about the rest of band, beyond Cherie Currie) and Remember Me (call me stupid but I had no idea there was a 9/11 element...serious tearjerker).

Waiting for The Lovely Bones (read the book ages ago and figured I'd go ahead and watch the movie) and It's Complicated.

I've been mostly renting seasons of various TV shows lately. Right now I'm in the middle of Mad Men and loving it!

Next up is the Big Bang Theory (I've seen season 1 and am waiting for the other)

I did watch Atonement the other day, it's a couple years old, but it was my first time seeing it. Very interesting- a much 'different' kind of movie than I'm used to seeing!

Oh boy this a loaded question for me as I currently have 294 things in my queue and 125 things in my Instant queue.

    On constant rotation:

    Season 2 of Psych
Season 1 of Robin Hood (re-watching)

    Just finished:

Boy A (highly recommend it, absolutely awesome)

    On the way:

    Mysteries of Pittsburgh

And I'm always watching other stuff! I absolutely love Netflix, totally worth the $8 every month.

    In DVD Queue:

    1. Rest of Fringe Season 1
    2. Fringe Season 2
    3. Thank you for Smoking
    4. Eddie Izzard: Live From Wembley
    5. United States of Tara
    6. Young @ Heart
    7. Big Love

In Instant Queue (just watched or likely to soon)

    1. Don't You Forget About Me (Documentary on John Hughes)
    2. Arrested Development S.2
    3. It Might Get Loud
    4. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
    5. Pandorum
    6. Food, Inc
    7. Imaginary Witness

I'm only on the $8.99 plan, so I get one disc at a time and I turn them around in 24 hours to get my money's worth. It can be hard when I've got a TV Series disc coming in with four hour long episodes and I get home from the barn at 8:30. I've missed a few key plot points every once in awhile because I've fallen asleep.

I LOVE Eddie Izzard! His documentary Believe (in the instant watch) is really good and pretty introspective on his career! And I really liked Don't You Forget About Me, all of those documentarians were quite ballsy and interesting! Specially the guy on crutches, I was really impressed with the level of interviewees they were able to get (Judd Nelson especially).
