Default Are carrots and red peppers the cheapest veggies right now?

Because my frozen dinners seem to be FULL of them!
I know I shouldnt eat them, but I am single, live alone and hate to cook.

Pretty sure rectangular carrot strips are not that high on a real Asians cooking list...uggh

Yeah, peppers are NOT cheap here either ... but they are really good for you.

The asian place near me is run by people that write in Chinese and barely speak english, but the food is GREAT ... they use square carrot chunks and green pepper squares all of the time ... they like to find the freshest stuff available, and the square peppers and carrots may be a regional thing (what they learned in their region where they grew up before they came over here).

I like colored peppers a lot, but they are between 2 and 3 dollars around here, and then they are pretty shriveled up...
a crying shame, too, because around here pretty much everything grows...

No shame on the frozen dinners from me. I eat tons of them as lunches at work.

I don't know about the carrots and peppers (I hate carrots and usually pick them out, and try not to select anything boldly featuring carrots). But I've noticed that any dish with rice suddenly has a LOT of rice. (I love rice, no problems there)!
