ewwww. Texas summers are really the pits but I hate snow more than melting in the heat.
My Mother is tickled to death with him.
He's not very smart. He spends a lot of time just standing by his feed bucket during the day hoping someone will drop food in. He is one of those food driven horses.
But because of this he such a pleaser. He tries SO hard to always get the correct answer.
I was laughing on the landing of every fence. He was so cute.
He truely is the best horse we have.
(sorry Boom)

My favorite horse I ever jumped was my mom's old 14.2, goofy looking, poorly built paint trail horse. He LOVED it, and was a total natural. Your work with your mom's horse reminds me of him - sometimes they just have that inside them and love the chance to show what they can do!
Have fun, and please share more as you go!
My horse is a dressage diva so I don't have to be.

well, he's 15.3 so I guess he's not REALLY a pony.
He'll have updates in my blog. He's quite the silly lil horse and needs a spokes person.

He is ABSOLUTELY the right color for me! If your mom ever wants him to go someplace else I'm right in line! My first good jumping horse was a horse that I barrel raced.
And you people in Texas, as I have found out, find some really nice horses just hanging out in pastures. Meadowcreek Park HT always had nice horses & riders attending.
