Default I went to Milwaukee and...

had a fantastic time! To anyone who lives in or near the city, just had to say how gorgeous it was! We went up for my cousin's wedding and it was my first time in Wisconsin. We went to the Pabst Mansion and the Lake Bottom Brewery tour. We took a walk along the river too. I love architecture and just adored all the old buildings

Now what are your winters like? Any harsher than Cleveland? (for those familiar with OH)

    Me too!

I went to go visit a friend going to school there a few weeks ago and couldn't stop raving about it! I loved it. (All my friends at home in Cali think I've lost my mind. )

I didn't do much touristy stuff since we're broke college students, and mainly just stayed around campus until my last night when we went to get frozen custard (was skeptical at first but DELICIOUS) and my friend went "Wait, you haven't even seen Milwaukee!" So I got the midnight tour of the city and lake.

All I know about the winters is they've got to be worse than California winters so I'm no help there. Although I may go back and brave the winter cold in a few months. And I might drag him out to see some of the sights in the daylight.

You should definitely go back and tour in the daylight! Which college? My cousin graduated from Marquette and what a gorgeous campus that is! They took their wedding pictures on campus. I bet it would be really pretty in the winter with Christmas lights and such.

Yup, he'll be graduating from Marquette this Spring. And the campus is gorgeous! And right in the middle of the city! I was shocked at their "campus church" because it's this beautiful old church with stained glass windows. Just beautiful, and not what I would expect at a university.

I'm definitely going back, it's just a matter of when. I figured I'd try to swing 2 more trips just for good measure. Did I mention I LOVED it there?

It's such a gorgeous place I can see why! I'm trying to convince BF to take a trip up there in the summer for a little vacation. I would love to go back and do some more exploring! If you go back in winter you'll have to let me know what it's like
