Default Weigh Stations in KY when Pulling Trailer?

    Hi all...

When pulling a trailer in KY, do you have to stop at the scales? We'll be pulling a 2-horse tomorrow, but next weekend, we'll be hauling a 16' stock trailer...

    Thanks in advance!

Our exit is the next one after the scales at mm130 on I 75. We haven't ever stopped and we tow about the same size stock trailer. Never had a trooper bother us, and I've seen them lying in wait on hwy 25 for truckers trying to sneak around the scales so I'd expect to be pulled over if we needed to stop.

Only if you have a horse van. Otherwise keep on going.
