Is there a live feed this year. If so , where is it?

I was right, I guesses it would be down to near 200 this year.

We have 208 starters this year, and Tori Colvin isn't on it. I'm not sure why. Samantha Smith goes at 185.

Default Order of go, standby, photos, live play-by-play is up!

The Chronicle's Molly Sorge and Mollie Bailey are ringside in Harrisburg, Pa., at the Pennsylvania National for the Pessoa/USEF Medal Finals. There's a course description, photos of the course and the course map, and we'll be posting more photos as we go along. Most importantly, we'll be blogging live every single round and you can join in the conversation, ask questions or just follow along, whether you're at the ring or at home.

Tori Colvin competed in the USEF Pony Medal final this year and as such, cannot do the regular medal final. She can do it next year.

Course was GREAT and presented more than enough tests of skill...

Finals was the same course in reverse.
Top two had to swap horses.
After seeing that, I personally would have swapped 1st and 2nd.
I felt Samantha rode the other horse much better than Hayley rode hers.

Do you think it was the lead swap that cost Sam the win? Or did it have something to do with removing the saddle from the right side of the horse?

Hayley had the swap. The judges were quoted as saying that Sam's first jump on Hayley's horse cost her the win, she was just too dead coming to it.

Ok oops, I was trying to recall what I had heard on the blog. So coming dead to a jump was worse than having a lead swap? How dead was it for those who saw it?

I was there watching all day... it was a quiet first jump and slightly more conservative than Haley... I would say Hayley's was a little more 'brilliant' but there were more errors than Sam had.

What other errors did Hayley have besides the swap?

I posted a poll on OffCourse about the appropriate side from which to remove your saddle...

They weren't major errors her distances just didn't look near as consistent as Sam's did... I have both tests videoed, would anyone like me to post them?

What a great course! It appeared straightforward, but required accuracy. I loved the test for the top 2. After seeing so many nice rounds, I was thankful not to be a judge.

    Great job by EB!

They're uploading as we speak...I'd much rather be uploading videos tonight than getting ready for NAL finals tomorrow
