It's been a steadily percolating story here in the Capital District for some time.
A friend of mine had her (now ex) husband get involved with this group. She owned her own home before they married. Now she and her 2 kids live in her mom's basement and her ex lives in Boca with their former babysitter.

Gotta watch those nannies and babysitters . She's not the first. Guess Dad took the babysitter and left the kidlets in grandma's basement. Nice.
I always liked seeing her wardrobe out there in the GP ring, kind of refreshing.
Sucks.

Wow... that was a shocking article! You can't help but feel sympathy to her, so many people are taken over by "cults" like that. You can only hope they make it out without any sort of criminal charges, and that she comes to her senses. It is amazing what a need for validation will drive people to do.
