    Default WBFSH Rankings

The studbooks final rankings of 2010 are available, regarding the SJ it shows again a mistake: If Cedric was recorded rightly as a Holsteiner, they would lead ahead of the KWPN. (can't understand why this is not corrected, being known for a long time)
Selle Français is third, then BWP and in fifth position, climbing the ladder, Zangersheide is coming fast, already ahead of WESTF, HANN and OLDBG.

Thanks, I've been wondering when they would come out.

What is the issue with Cedric? Was he originally registered as Holsteiner, but KWPN re-registered his papers? Doesn't Zangersheide also do this? Sorry if this has already been discussed.

yeah... there's been discussion on it.

anyone on here close to laura's folks? i know they've been asked repeatedly to do the paperwork since cedric was correctly identified just before hong kong.

intersting how a paperwork failure can make an impact of that significance. and also kind of funny how it benefits the kwpn, as does the conflict of interest at the chair of the wbfsh. but hey, nothing new....

    thanks for posting andy.

NGB lists him as a Holsteiner.
Paperwork to the FEI comes from the NGB even of the owner needs to initially complete a form. If the Holsteiners want to claim him they ahould be speaking to the NGB if they haven't already.

The story with Cedric is as follows according to former owner Eric vd Vleuten:

    Quote from him:
" As we bought Cedric there was no paperwork with the horse so they registered him as a KWPN horse. This was a mistake because later it turned out to be a Holsteiner from Chambertin."
    End quote

I think this should be corrected.
