Default 12 year old Quarter Horse Gelding available for long term free lease.-Ma

I am looking to find the perfect home for my 12 year old Quarter Horse Gelding. He is being offered for for long term free lease, not a giveaway. He stands at about 15 3"and is very well put together. He has evented through training level and is now ready for a less demanding job. Would be ideal as a lower level dressage horse, trail horse, or pony club horse, is a real confidence builder. Sweet and sane, easy to manage and handle, is bombproof on the trails both alone or in a group. Stands for Vet, Dentist and Farrier. Beginner and child friendly but would I love an adult rider who is looking to improve there dressage riding who also loves the trails. This horse is a gem and at no risk. He will stay where he is (Bedford, Ma) until the perfect home comes along.
    Exceptional home only! Thanks!

It takes a good deal of physical courage to ride a horse. This, however, I have. I get it at about forty cents a flask, and take it as required. ~Stephen Leacock

Wow I wish this were about 4 years in the future and my current BN QH was about to retire. Unfortunatly, I do not have time to ride 2, or the funds to house 4 (have 2 retirees).

Do you have him on the USEA Area 1 website? I would think in our area he should not be hard to place. Groton Pony Club and Old North Bridge Pony Club are both reputable and local.

FYI- it kinda sounds from your ad that you do not want him jumping. Could he do like, BN and some Novice? Or is he ready to do some girls and 18"?
