Exclamation Hans/olden/trak/welsh/tbs. Do you "know" any of these horses?

Does anyone recognize these horses or "Lisa Love" in Florida? Her (former) horses are going on the auction block via Lake co Florida animal services on Tuesday. Looks to be some nice but neglected horses. Just curious if anyone had anymore info about these guys/gals? Any info about them may help with adoptions. 12 more next week to.

Go to "other" at this site:

Default Does anyone have any more info about these horses?

I just saw this post and would like to help, if I can. I am in the central time zone and the shelter was already closed and I just got an answering machine. The horses didn't look bad, but I guess they were confiscated in March and have been fed well since then.

The palomino gelding is by my stallion, *Wedderlie Mardi Gras.

I would very much like to purchase him, and am looking for someone to bid on him on my behalf and transport him from AC while I (quickly!) arrange transport. Of course I will pay all expenses.

If anyone is in the area and would be willing to help, please PM me, send an e-mail to gretchen.aitken@gmail.com or call me at 541-874-3333

There are a number of animals registered with USEF to a Lisa Love in FL. Most have breeding information. You can see a list if you use the search function here with her full name: http://www.usef.org/_IFrames/Searche...Recording.aspx
I'm not sure anything matches up with the ones listed for adoption, but she looks like she uses a lot of Zarr, and perhaps the ages on the adoption site are approximate?

Gretchen, I am two hours south. If there is anything I can do for you, please contact me. I would be happy to help in any way I can. I will have access to a trailer after Wednesday and I could find stabling for you in the Ocala area if you need it. Just let me know.

On the USEF site I see two Zarr's and a Landkonig and a Lisa Dworkin as the breeder of three of the other horses listed.

I'm wondering if the adorable bay Welsh filly might be by *Menai Mister Mostyn. I can't remember if it was Lisa, or a different client of mine, that was using/had used him at some point.

Edgar needs to look at these pictures.

I think all of Landkonig's offspring are bay so no chestnuts are by him.

    That narrows it down.

I do wonder if she used any more of Edgar's stallions.

A phone call I had a few minutes ago said that she thought some of them may be by Pablo.

In case anyone else from out of the area is interested, Lake City is NOT near Lakeland. Lake City is up in north central FL, right around 75 and 10. Lakeland is about 4 hours away, halfway between Tampa and Orlando.

I am in Lakeland though, and if anyone who plans to bid and ship one south of here and needs somewhere for a horse to stay for a bit, I can make some room. I can't transport, but I have space to keep another one short-term.
