    Default Happy 1st Birthday EventingNation!

EN fired up the presses this week last year and started things off with a bang doing live coverage of the monsoon that was Fair Hill CCI***. I hope everybody has enjoyed it as much as I have! Between COTH and EN I'm pretty much getting the internet horse fix taken care of...much to the dismay of anybody around my place that wants me to get anything done.

Thanks John and your great crew of contributors!

Congrats John. Talk about time flying. I still think of John as the great kid riding around on "My Hot Tamale" the great pony.

It's addictive : ) Happy B-Day John and the rest of gang at EN...your efforts are deeply appreciated especially in an area with little or no Eventing to speak of.

You're right, SubK: Between COTH and EN, I keep up with the most important eventing and broader equestrian news, without snark. OK, maybe with a little wink now and then.

John, your site is amazingly polished for being only a year old. Loved the WEG coverage (H&D TV and all), love your editorial voice, love your sense of humor. Congratulations!

    Kick on!

    Thumbs up

LOVE EN!! I was telling someone the other day that I'd be lost without EN and COTH to keep me in the loop! Plus it makes the time fly at work

Thanks John, and keep up the great work!

To think that last winter, when John was sharing a barn in Aiken with us, we really wondered what that guy was DOING in his tiny apartment all day and WHY was his light on so late into the night??!! We didn't know him very well, we didn't want to be ruuuuude but Finally we asked him what the heck he was up to in there. Well, he hemmed and hawed a little before confessing he was dabbling with a little web site he had started. HOLY SMOKES, a "little web site"??? Was he kidding? Everyone I know is addicted. John, you're the best. If we ever need to know anything, you're the source. Thank you.

Hey everyone, someone emailed me about this thread over the weekend weekend and I was really touched. We were so busy with Fair Hill that I haven't had time to reply until now and I never even got around to mentioning our birthday on EN.

I'm not really one to make a big deal out of birthdays, but it's a great chance for me to say thanks to all of the members of the EN Team of their fantastic hard work. Also, thanks to all of our readers for making it a fantastic first year. EN would not exist without our wonderful writers and readers. If we make it two years I'll write about that birthday on EN

    Thanks again, John

Your first inclination was right. He just lied about actually doing a website because you busted him
